ABOUT HABITAT BOTANICALS
When Hannah, the founder of Habitat Botanicals, decided to switch to a plant-based lifestyle back in 2016 she never thought she would have so much trouble finding good bathroom alternatives.
While researching cruelty-free and vegan options, she was horrified with the ingredients list found in so many of the conventional products she was using. She had trouble finding brands that she can trust and support.
That is when she decided to make her own and that’s how Habitat was born. It was her belief that healthy skin and care shouldn’t come at the expense of our planet and its inhabitants. That’s where the name Habitat comes from.
They believe that small changes to our daily routines can have a large and long lasting impact on our bodies and the environment. That’s why everything the company makes is vegan, plastic-free and made from scratch with natural local ingredients.
Guided with compassion, empathy and honesty they believe that they can reshape what and how we consume and create a waste-free future. Today, Habitat is creating clean, vegan, eco-friendly bathroom necessities that are good for you and the environment!
When a company does something with the right intentions and with the strong values and foundations and stands by it, that is happiness guaranteed! Bathroom waste and the harmful chemicals found in many of the commercial everyday products that we use are taking a toll both on our health and the environment.
It is Habitat's mission, as part of the Pela family, to stop 1 billion pounds of plastic from ever entering the waste stream. All of their products are made with fresh, plant-based, local ingredients and are fully compostable including their packaging.
Habitat Botanicals products are Leaping Bunny Cruelty-free certified. This certification audits every step of a company’s process to ensure that the products they produce are truly 100% cruelty-free.
On top of that, they are members of 1% For the Planet through which they support many non-profit environmental projects such as World Wildlife Fund, Save the Waves Coalition, Oceana, Wildlife Conservation Network, Bye Bye Plastic Bags and many others.
